Nice little park. Have walking trails. Clean and kid friendly. The playground is nice, with a pirate ship theme. Has a nice large pavilion. Restrooms off the side. There is also a nice basketball court and a little workout area.

My husband and I stayed in Matlacha for 5 nights. Every morning and night we would walk our dogs there and they provide a dog poop baggie receptacle. There was a nice “pirate ship” playground for kids and THE nicest outdoor pull-up/dip/fitness rig I’ve ever seen! It’s an adult playground! The hours were 0700-2130 hrs and there are public bathrooms and a basketball court.

Always a great place to visit. Especially with the littles. I love the playground here and I'm an adult, so you can imagine how the kids feel. They have a basket ball court too. Pier. Boat ramp. Tons of cabanas for picnic's, grills set up through out. A nice path to walk the entire area. Tons of great views. Fishing docks. Etc.

No the cabanas are free for anyone to use no reservation needed
No the pier will not open until its repaired.. The bridge is great fishing though

Drove past the other night and still closed off...trying to find the answer.
You should call the office. They used to only allow them at the boat launch, while launching your boat
very nice area but no sandy beaches. try sanibel. lee county has an excellent park on the causeway. or fort myers beach (a small city on an island about 30 min away)
