I have kayaked before but decided to take the guided tour. I still picked up a few new tricks! Great for beginners who were with us. Our guide, Jim, was absolutely amazing! He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. He taught us all a lot about the ecosystem and even had some great recommendations for food and other fun activities in the area. Cannot recommend enough; wish I could give them 6 stars!

We had a blast. Having never kayaked before Jim was easy going and showed us all the ropes during our eco tour. A group of us took my Mom for her 60th birthday and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend for those visiting town or who live here and would like to see a different side of SW Florida. Plus you can't beat the price.

Wonderful experience, extremely knowledgeable guide (Jim), and it was a great time for a beginning kayaker (myself) and my teenage kids (who are more advanced). We did the sunset tour and it was perfect. Jim, our guide, was very patient with all of the experience levels in our group and made sure we all had an enjoyable time. Highly recommend!

We would highly recommend booking your kayak tour with Gulf Coast Kayak as we were not disappointed. We are from the Florida Panhandle and paddle frequently with our own kayaks / paddle boards. We wanted to take a tour this time opposed to going out on our own to learn a little more about the local area. Jim was our guide and we were highly impressed with his tour guide skills. From the moment he introduced himself and asked our names, I could tell he loves what he does. He made us feel like we have been friends. We had a group of nine people with different skill sets in our party and Jim included all as he imparted his knowledge. He got took some great pics of the us through out the tour which was a pleasant surprise. Of course, nature showed her beauty.

Yes, however we charge $5 a kayak to launch. You get access to our restroom in the shop, a hose to clean your gear afterwards, and if you ask one of our staff members they will assist you in unloading and loading your kayak back up.

Hello. We are open on Memorial Day. Our single kayaks are $35 for 1/2 day and $50 for a Double kayak for the 1/2 day. 1/2 day gives you up to 4 hours on the water. Let us know if you would like to make a reservation.
Certainly! We have both sit in and sit on top 10 foot and 12 foot kayaks. Weight range from 50 lbs to 300 lbs.

We rented a double kayak for a week there, and they gave us a good price (about $225 for the week) but note that they rent only sit on tops. Excellent service.
