We (all 200 or so passengers in route to Edinburgh) have sat here in JFK and watched the information sign go from a departure time of 11pm to 2am in 15 minute increments for several agonizing hours now all because they misplaced a pilot somewhere. The gate agents can only shrug and apologize because they have no idea of when or if this nightmare is going to end. On top of this they add a few minutes of alarm testing from time to time. I thought Delta stank before the pandemic but they absolutely reek now. Makes me really regret splurging on first class tickets for our anniversary celebration. We should have just stayed home and went to Olive Garden. UPDATE: at 0300 Delta canceled the flight. The refugees all gathered at the delta desk to slowly wind through to reschedule, and get our transport and hotel vouchers. Finally we at 0500 we were on our way to the hotel. Today we will wait in the airport until 9:00pm to get on our rescheduled flight. I’ve rarely seen a more incompetent business. ENJOY!

The best airline in the US, high price but worth it

Had high hopes had a good experience first time around but this time was just a list of issues. First staff broke my new stroller (disney trip). Then when i tryed to make a simple change same day they attempted to charge me 120k in miles for one ticket and removed my comfort+ seat claiming it was not transferable to a different flight since it was purchased after the initial reservation. Top it all off whole flights luggage came 1 hour and 20 minutes late this to me is just to many hiccups for one single trip and feel very dissatisfied. Delta really has to work on these issues. Such as ground crew times for luggage, flight pricing transparency and better response for damaged luggage

Flight 182 was suppose to depart at 440pm to Rome. Mechanical issues for that last 3 hours. We've been sitting here no air. A 8 hr flight just turned into 11 hrs depending if we leave anytime soon. Wish me luck....
