They only had rooms on 3rd floor, no elevator! First room had some already in there! Second room very, very smokey (they had me sign a form saying they would change me $200 if the room was smoked in)! The only room left they could give me had full sized beds, I had reserved a King bed. Ice maker was broken. Air conditioner was filthy. The beds and pillows were so small they were rather cute, too bad they expected you to sleep in them. The bedding was clean. Second visit, few days later, room had odd smell. Very long straight hallways made for noisy night! No mixer valve in shower, expect sudden temperature changes during shower. (Does that still meet code?)

I never trust a hotel where you need to pick up a phone, on the front door, and announce your arrival. Nor, do I trust a hotel where I can't understand what the front desk is trying to convey to me. I've stayed here in the past, and it's gone down hill a lot. Still....it was priced well. You can tell that no expense has been put into the upkeep. Room was decent. Clean. Roomy. Bed was SUPER soft. When I sat on it, I thought it was going to engulf me. They really need to install grab bars on the tub/showers, as there is nothing to hold onto. Toilet/shower area is small. They seem to cater to families, so expect to hear kids screaming in the hallways. Overall...it was okay.

Room was super dirty. Mold in the bathroom, carpet looked like it was never cleaned. I left my jacket behind and when calling he acted as if it wasn't there and got rude when I told him I was coming for it. I would highly suggest picking any other hotel. You may even be more comfortable sleeping on your car.

Positive: Great location next to the Woodfield mall and highways. Staff was succinct and to the point. Negative: The hotel was fine, it definitely felt old. Carpet and paint looked worn and in need of a refresh. The king bed only had 4, beaten up pillows. It was clean, though and reasonably quiet. The deluxe breakfast needed at least some more fruit.
