Fantastic service, excellent rate. A bed so comfortable I don't want to get out of it. Absolutely spotless room. So glad to find this place after dealing with another Choice Hotel that I would NOT recommend--the Comfort Inn on Barrington at Hoffman Estates. Edit: Just had their wonderful breakfast that is included in room rate. Waffle station, cold cereal, scrambled eggs, link sausage, fruit, toast, coffee, juice, and more--all done right. And the bathtub is fantastic for soaking. They have a pool and hot tub here, but I won't have time to try those.

Positive: Breakfast, parking and wifi were included. Kids loved the pool. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Location is only about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chicago Negative: Wifi wasn¿t great - super spotty and kept coming in and out constantly. Pool area wasn¿t the cleanest and there were no bathrooms in the pool area.

This hotel definitely seems more business trip than family vacation, but for those who are easy to please it's a good base for vacations near Chicago. It's walking distance to a mall with a Legoland Discovery Center, restaurants, a Whole Foods, and more. There's also a bus terminal/depot next to it, but we didn't use that so I can't say how user friendly it is. Pool is nice but not huge. The chlorine also seemed a bit strong on our eyes. Our room was relatively recently upgraded to vinyl plank floors and new paint, but the bathrooms are not updated, so a mixed look there. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Positive: This hotel is older, but very clean and somewhat updated. The breakfast area is very clean and nice. The breakfast buffet is more than continental, offering waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes. The pool area is very clean and nice. There is a hot tub. Negative: Not really. The toiletries were cheap and crappy, but expected at this level. Phone in room didn¿t work, but didn¿t need it anyway. Otherwise- not much to complain about.
