Absolutely love this place!! There's never going to be perfect management but this place is pretty great and the environment is perfect for people with dogs, love nature and hiking!

I am so happy with the apartment and especially our spacious balcony that overlooks the wooded area! The apartment is structurally sound and a great layout. It truly is lovely. The emails to and from the office have been great. I came from out of state and have to say I was pleasantly pleased.

I lived at The Preserve at Travis Creek right down the street for a few years. The management and property are fantastic. This place is not on par with them in the slightest. (10/1) Another break-in. (9/26&27) More car break-ins. Despite a conversation with upper managment about more communication, the leasing office has made no effort to alert the community. (9/24): We now have a porch pirate brazenly stealing packages in broad daylight. Residents have posted information on the community wall, and Camden management has again (see below) deleted it. (9/6): More cars have been burglarized. The reply to this review indicates that there are cameras throughout the community. This is patently false. Here is what the manager emailed me in response to where cameras are actually located, (sic) “cameras are ,located at the entrance and exit gates. As well in amenity areas.” This constitutes the entrance of the complex. There are no cameras anywhere inside the gates. For prospective residents, this is the kind of misinformation that is consistently provided by management. If they are willing to make untrue statements before you even move in, imagine what the smoke & mirrors policy is when they have you locked into a contract. (8/23): Two more car break-ins last night. Windows were smashed, so glass was easily visible in the parking lot. In addition, the belongings from the cars were strewn about the lot. The alleged security patrol didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. Management made no effort to notify the community. …: I have lived here for four years and have had an inordinate amount of issues. It is nearly impossible to get anyone in the leasing office on the phone. Calls are routed to their call center every time. Emails sent frequently have no reply. Maintenance team is fantastic, but Camden cuts corners, and they are insanely overworked. There are not nearly enough maintenace staff to handle a complex this size, but the guys have always done a fantastic job. In my time here, they have replaced my washing machine, dishwasher, oven (twice), A/C unit and garbage disposal. So, don’t expect appliances to work, but know that the crew will be there to fix ‘em. The turnover rate for leasing agents is unusually high, though. Since I’ve been here, there has been an attack on a woman on her doorstep, and her car was stolen. A man was robbed at gun point by two men and suffered injuries. The resident had to alert the community by posting the incident on the community wall. Camden management provided no notifications. There was a mental health crisis in August with a resident that lasted for over two weeks, and no notice was sent to the residents until residents began to demand information. However, when residents shared information on the Community Wall, management deleted the posts. Camden cares far more about their self-interest than the safety of their residents. Some residents with CHLs have indicated that they are now carrying guns when they walk around the property. Many of the single women with dogs are asking to be accompanied while walking at night. Instead of providing additional lighting or even one single security camera on the property, Camden has chosen to paint - aesthetics over safety. The workers are leaving nails and screws all throughout the parking lot, and car tires are being punctured. Multiple residents have seen a security truck drive up to the leasing office, turn around and leave without ever entering the complex. It bears mentioning that a vast majority of the 5 star reviews (the ones that aren’t from Camden employees) are for Jay who truly was a wonderful part of the maintenance team when she worked here. After completing a job in my unit, she handed me a card and asked me to post a good review of her online because her mom likes to see them. While that is endearing, it is food for thought. Don’t expect to be treated as an individual much less as an actual living, breathing human being. Camden only has concern for their own self interest and not the interests of their residents.

just moved in 3 days ago. it is unsafe here and management is unresponsive. don’t move here. seriously. if you have already signed a lease, cancel it and go somewhere else. following up about 2 months later: constant/weekly overnight car break ins, inadequate security on the property, abysmal communications from the leasing office, no one is notified about anything ever and we have to rely on community message boards and unmonitored slack channels to tell each other about the safety issues on the property.
