I am unsure of the recent 5 star reviews for Ravina Apartments. While my personal experience has been nothing but bad. Our garage was broken into recently, a car had its wheels stolen (all 4, on blocks atm) and lots of loud music late at night, among various other issues here. Perhaps the 5 star reviews are used to this type of behavior but we are not. Rent is cheap, which can explain a lot. Will be glad to leave when our lease is up. The back gate doesn't work, so if you ever want to swing by and check the place out, you can just drive in. Update: our garage has been broken into twice now. From the looks of it, the other garage next to ours as well. The office doesn't know what to do to resolve this issue. For $130 a month to have a parking space, I would hope someone could come up with a plan to fix the door at this point, however this seems unlikely. I'll have to fix the door myself I guess. Good luck to anyone that has to deal with Denise, the office manager. Absolutely insane that corporate would keep her, I would expect a hefty lawsuit in their future.

Here is a list of experiences I had while living here: -AC Unit broke a minimum of 4 times -AC fan threw sparks out of my ceiling and likely would've started a fire had I not turned the breaker off within seconds of it occurring. Please see photos. -Car towed -Frequent car break-ins -Dish washer drain broke -Rent was raised by ~$200 per year I lived here -Very frequent community wide inspections -Loud neighbors -Lost packages -Trash bins are always overflowing and disgusting. There is a raccoon problem due to valet trash as well. -Our entire building's mail was stolen from the mailboxes. You can see photos on another review. -Constant road construction outside complex on 2222 and an ongoing building demolition across the street -Gate is frequently stuck open I could go on. Please consider this review before leasing here. Note to management: I am not interesting in contacting you about this review nor interested in any contact whatsoever from you. No need to leave the same copy/pasted resume response to this review.

You would be hard pressed to fined a better facilities management team then the one at Cortland River Place. Denise Morris and her team always make me feel welcomed. They make me feel like they genuinely care about my personal well being. I feel like they listen and really do care about all my needs and requests. I recently had an issue with my A/C unit and it was after hours so I really wasn’t expecting the problem to be fixed right away. I mean I was hoping so. And they delivered. The a/c was cooling again and Mike was fast to call me and make sure all was well. I know I’m these times all rental properties have gone up and I did look around and concluded that there was not another complex with the management team or amenities that Cortland had to offer so I resigned a new lease in a larger apartment. Thanks again to Denise and her team for being so welcoming, patient and understanding. I truly am blessed to be a resident here at Cortland River Place. Regards, Mario Melendez
