This review is based on my experience with the Princeton, NJ branch. We have called 3 times to get service out to fix something with no calls back. We cannot use our alarm system until the item is fixed. We've been a customer for several years with this type of slow and poor service; this will likely need to be the last as I begin to shop for a new alarm service. If they are unable to service the accounts they have, I have no confidence they will support us in an emergency.

I had a very pressing matter with my current alarm system. Vector Security was able to correct and replace the situation quickly and reliably. The tech that came out to help me was Brian and he was a doll. Very kind and explained in detail the work he would have to do and why he did it. I really appreciated all the help I and service I got from this company from the first phone call until the very end. I will surely recommend them to my friends and family.

I called to inquire about their services because I want to install cameras for my home. A lady picked up and took my information to provide to the rep working in my area. After some time the rep(Phil) called me. I asked about their prices and was told we cannot do that over the phone. I said okay not a problem can you provide the price for the cameras since it is a monthly plan I have to pay for and you can provide the installation charges in person. Phil started yelling and screaming. I just hung up the phone and ended the 3 minute call. Basically if you want their service do not ask for the price or they will start yelling and screaming at you. Very unprofessional. He gave me a price of $5,000 for 4 cameras, plus the monthly fee of renting the cameras, plus the installation. I am not sure if he provided the price out of anger.

Your home security system may beep for several reasons including low batteries, maintenance required, or after a power outage. Visit our video gallery for tips on how to stop the beeping on your system. If that doesn’t work, please contact your local branch.
If your area should experience a power outage, your system will switch over to backup battery power to keep security equipment running. Additionally, our monitoring centers use back up power supplies as well to ensure uninterrupted monitoring of your system.
To print your certificate, just click the “Insurance Certificate” link on our Customer Portal home page. Select a site from the dropdown menu (if you have more than one property on your account) and then click the green “Download Insurance Certificate” button. Just call your local branch if you don't have access to a printer.
