Food was excellent! My husband ordered the 12 oz sirloin and it was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it too was cooked to perfection. The sauce was very good too. We ordered the French fried onions. Although I prefer onion rings, these were very tasty and seasoned well. Portions of the food were generous and I like that they serve bread with the meal. We definitely will return.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to San Antonio and wow! Seriously good food! The menu is large and it seems like everything is homemade. I had beef tenderloin tips over mashed potatoes as pictured in my review. SO good! Hubby had chopped steak and said it was the best he’s ever had. Also got the jalapeño popper and they were amazing.

First time to eat here. I thought it was great. Employees were all working hard & my chicken fried chicken was great! My daughter said her fried shrimp was tough but she enjoyed the fried fish & the baked potato. My fries were extremely greasy so I will get the baked potato next time. Overall we enjoyed it. We will eat there again.

Great food, reasonable prices. Right off of I-10 in Flatonia. Spouse loved their shrimp brioche, broccoli and salad. My chopped sirloin was great with sautéed mushrooms and onions. The green beans were arguably the best I've ever had, seasoned in butter and garlic. Both meals became 2 meals each. Carlos was an attentive server. If you're on the road near Flatonia and need an afternoon/evening meal, Robert's is highly recommended.
