I was so excited to find an African American, female gynecologist but the pictures of Dr. Rochelle Brandon on the website are misleading. She is very dry and has poor bedside manner. She shows no emotion, at all. Horrible with eye contact and I have visited her office twice to see if it was possible just one bad day for her but it’s not. That’s how she treats her patience. Since the pandemic going to the doctor and such is harder financially and I don’t feel like I was valued or even really looked after while I had my visits. The main receptionist seemed overworked too because she was also very short with me but with inflation and staff shortages I understand why she would. I will not be returning. I’m sorry, I value my health too much to spend my money somewhere that doesn’t even have the decency to communicate appropriately about my medical information. Really unfortunate for someone who is only interested in finding a female, African American gynecologist in Charlotte.

Dr. Brandon is an excellent excellent doctor. She really goes above and beyond for your health. She is very knowledgeable of women health and truly shows how much she cares for her patients. Individually, I can say she has listened to my concerns and has helped other of my family members a lot! Fully recommended!

I recently moved here. I've had the same trusted doctors for decades, and it is difficult to rebuild a new medical network from scratch. The 5 star Google reviews are ACCURATE! Dr. Brandon spent a lot of time talking with me, explaining the possible reasons for my discomfort, giving me referrals, and ordering tests for me. I was able to get blood work taken in her office. I was very pleased with her extra level of care. :)

*Read before booking* I never write reviews. Since I have lived in Charlotte I have been going here. I like that Brandon is a black woman so I felt more comfortable. Nevertheless, that was the opposite. She is very judgmental on anything I mention that dose not aline with her beliefs. That goes for my lifestyle or relationship. Not to mention, one time as I was getting my IUD strings trimmed, she left the clippings in and said “oh, they will just come out on there own.” It’s always nerve racking trying to find a new gynecologist, so I tired to stick it out. I was even delaying my visit after a certain point. My sister recommended me to her Dr. but of course she is not accepting new patients. So yesterday I set up another appointment with Brandon Gynecologist. The reception is usually a nice lady. I have never had any bad interaction with her. She was a little rude but I let it go. Then I received a text notification about my appointment next week and noticed it did not say Dr. Brandon name, but someone else. So I called back and the receptionist would not let me speak, it was like every time I got a sound out she was ready to talk over me. Then going to have the nerve to ask me, “Then what exactly do you need me to help you with.” I’m like you would know if you would let me speak. I took this as the sign to stop going here. (P.S. they also do not think you need any pain medicine when you have an IUD removed, word from the receptionists)
