Really pretty rooms! It was neat to see pictures on the walls showing how the hotel looked before it was restored. We spent the day at Lava Hot springs and had a beautiful hotel room to come back to and relax. The rest of our family stayed nearby at the Sage House (also managed by Harkness). It's been newly renovated and so nice inside- it was a great place for our family to congregate and spend time together.

Stayed the night here on my way to Yellowstone. This is honestly a really nice hotel and it's also affordable. The coffee is phenomenal. The bathroom in the Silver room was pretty. The bed was super comfy.

Unexpected Secret Boutique Hotel Hidden In Idaho The hotel has an amazing history and the staff is excellent to talk to and help with any needs. The hotel feels updated and clean. Cleanliness is most important for me. I’ll go out of my way and pay extra to have a place that’s constantly updated and feels like it’s meticulously maintained. In this part of Idaho that’s hard to find but they’ve done a great job at The Harkness Hotel.

This place was so nice! The chocolates, roses, and sparkling cider made the room that much more inviting! It was so close to the lava hot springs and the views on the ride to the hot springs was worth the time! The town was so inviting, definitely an experience we will always remember! Love love love
