Wasn't sure about rating a garage, but then I realized I park here a lot. So here goes. It's safe - never leaving valuables visible, I've never had a problem. It's easy to access and it's in a great location for almost any fun day downtown or a meeting. Easy in and out. Covered parking. Sometimes the stairwell has smelled of urine in the past, but it seems cleaner lately and you can typically walk in and out without needing the stairwell.

Clearance is 7 feet. Typically spots are always available. Convenient location to the grove arcade, chai pani, Pritchard park, and packs square. Also fine for south slope area if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk to places like Burial. Stairwells are fairly clean, doesn’t smell, and spots are decently sized.

I believe it just charges by the hour. You get a slip and when you leave you just give it to them or insert it into machine and then you pay.
I think you can. It's a buck an hour.
The first hour is free. After that it's $1.25 per hour. There may be flat rate for local special events.
