Every step of the way, Dr. Marc Glasgold excelled. I haven’t EVER had this good an experience with a doctor of any sort, period. He is kind, calm, generous with his time, meticulous and of course, enormously skillful. I never once doubted his judgment. His entire staff is a dream staff. They return your calls and emails promptly. I had one previous surgery that didn’t go well, so I approached this ten-year-later revision with great caution. The surgery went off without a hitch, and I barely felt any pain in the aftermath. I enjoyed the experience immensely, and the results are superb. What more could anyone ask for?

I had a facelift surgery done with a previous plastic surgeon who left me very unhappy and unsatisfied with the results and my care. A friend recommended me to Dr. Mark Glasgold. I felt heard by the doctor, as well as, comfortable and confident that he could redo the previous damage and give me the exact results I had originally wanted. Best decision I could've made.

I was really on the fence about undergoing cosmetic surgery until I started looking like someone I didn't recognize in the mirror. It was depressing. I have been around people that had cosmetic surgery since I was a young teenager, and I have seen the good, the bad, and the holy $@#%! When I finally decided to do it, I was truly scared, so I researched every surgeon in New Jersey and agreed to go to Dr. Mark. I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Mark only does faces, and he has done hundreds of them. Sedation, as opposed to general anesthesia, was also a factor. I chose to have an eyebrow lift as opposed to eyelid surgery. My eyes look open, and I can see better. I hadn't realized how much the droopy eyelids hindered my eyesight. I also had a facelift, and so many things can go wrong with that. Pixie ears. A weird mouth. Unnatural sideburns. Noticeable scars. I don't have any of that. I remember going to my hairdresser and asking her what she could see, and she said she couldn't see anything. I know she was trying to be nice, but when I asked my mother, who can be brutal, she said she couldn't see anything either. I am glad I could do this because it has boosted my self-esteem. I no longer see an old lady in the mirror, and most importantly for me, my Millenial co-workers won't either. I need to work for as long as I can. If you are over 60 and need to work, think of this as an investment, not a frivolous expense. You only have one face, and you can't cover it up. Going with anything other than the best is not an option. I am grateful to Dr. Mark for his interest and care and the entire Glasgold team for their patience and kindness.

If I could give Dr. Mark 10 stars I would. The group is professional, courteous, kind and the results are amazing. Their work achieves the desired results. They are dramatic yet subtle. My friends have asked me questions like "did you change you hair", "did you get new glasses", they notice the change and how much more awake and fresh is the term they have used to describe my look. I had my eyelids done by Dr. Mark. The surgery was the easiest thing for me. I had no pain during or after the surgery. Thank you Dr. Mark and staff! You guys are all wonderful.

Is there pain/discomfort after a facelift?

Most patients state that the pain/discomfort following a facelift is not bad at all.

Do they except insurance.

We are out of network with all insurances.

I am considering having under eye surgery, how long is the re coperation period? Are both eyes done together? Are eyes totally masked after surgery?

Hi, Both eyes are done together. Recovery is not long. You can return to work in a couple of days. For upper eyelids, you have sutures that need to be removed in 1 week. We do not use any bandages so your eyes are not masked.
