A very well maintained and well kept Park this golf course is usually neat and pristine. An overall a pretty easy course good for beginner to intermediate.

Lots of walking opportunities, but we went for the train. At $1 a ride it kept the kids entertained and our wallets happy!

Wow! For just $2 entry per car, there is so much to see. Gorgeous hiking trails, awesome nature center, gardens, multiple playgrounds, frisbee golf, and a splash pad! This place is a gem.

There is Free parking around the side, it is a little walk to the park, or 2 bucks to park for the day , the park itself is free
There is a splash pad and creek as well. Also, I believe it is illegal to swim in the lake. The creek is OK though.

The paddle boats have relocated. You have to get your tickets at the train station. The rate is $1 for 30 minutes per person.
Sorry I don't know, you would want to go on line and get the number for the nature center at Steele's Creek and ask them. But what a beautiful place to have it
In early 1973, the Bristol, Tennessee Board of Commissioners and Mayor Jere King voted to change the name of Steele Creek Park to the Stacy J. Grayson Park at Steele Creek. In May, 1973, the Stacy J.
There is a splash pad but it's not Open yet, not sure when it opens. And of course the creek in the front of the park.
Trails are steeper on the animal habitat side. Park closes at dark.
You can call the Parks & Rec office at the Slater Center (423)764-4023
The Splash Pad will open Memorial Day weekend!

They have open, uncovered picnic tables and covered, reserved picnic tables available.

Yes, I have witnessed this before. However, you may need to receive permission beforehand. Or go with the old adage that it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission...lol.
Talk to the guys n the nature center there
I was told, weekdays 5 p.
I know the shelter by the splash pad is around $60 for half day. The others are approximately $40. So I imagine the indoor is probably that of the splash pad or more.
You can see the pad from the Gate House. If you rent the shelter at the splash pad, you can park in the lot right at the pad. If you are just wanting to splash, parking is at the top of the hill where the volley ball courts are. Signs are posted for splash pad parking. It's been a few weeks since I've been. It appeared that they were in the process of building a second parking lot near the pad on my last visit. Edit : Since posting this, the new parking lot for the splash pad is complete.
You can bring your own gas grill did it 2 weeks ago at the shelter next to splash pad
Yes they do!!! You can Google the information and it will give you the phone number. Because when I visit there they had a sign for injured wildlife and I just can't remember the number
