I need to have a new picture taken for my license renewal. The appointments they have to offer are after my renewal date. Walk-ins she said could be hours of a wait. The local office will not answer their phone. Are you kidding??
Linda Smith
Very friendly and courteous. He explained everything and what I need to bring to get the gold star on my license. Quick service. Thank you very much.

We had a very good experience! Getting our new NC Drivers Licenses since we've just moved here. Only about an hour total with our appointment.

You can request one at the front door.
I just renewed my license, I went to the DMV office in Forest City and I didn't have an appointment. They still take walk-ins. All in all I was there for about 30-45 min.'s because they do prioritize appointments over walk-ins but they worked me in pretty fast.
Go by the DMV office they have a paper that has everything you need on it
You will have to go to the tag office.a little advice in NC u do need it notorized and the tag office will notorized it for a 5 dollar fee.be in mind u do have to have cash for the notory fee.no card is accepted for that fee
You need to go early, or right after lunchtime. I think they stop taking walkins totally at 4pm. Remember they are taking alot at appointments online so walkins would take longer to get to. My daughter went at 9 and was seen by 945 on a Tuesday.
Yes but only from 2 till closing but you better be there at like 12 to be first
Google Dmv.gov
The sign said that you can make an appointment or they take walk-ins until 4:30 p.m. appointments will have priority over walk-ins I was just there yesterday.
Yes
You can go in person now, they are taking walk-ins ,I would go now because the wait time was short for me .....I went around 2:30 pm the phone when I tried to call was just busy single, over an over! Hope this helped!have a blessed day!
You have to go to a DMV office that just deal with vehicle license and registration. The driver's license office only deal with driver license issues. I you would have to stand in line if you don't have an appointment
No
Yes, it should be waived. Also, check the website where you make the appointments for cancellations. I got in the very next day because someone cancelled their appointment
Lost title application at tag office
They closed until monday, boo
No its appointment only BUT... you can pick any dmv office in nc to make a appointment and they show you what dates they have available, so if you are willing to drive you maybe able to get it sooner..hope this helps.
Yes make a apt online www.ncdmv.gov
Yes. They do not take walk ins AT ALL. But the good news, their not backlogged as bad as other places hendersonville is 45 day wait. Also you can choose where you get your license hope this helps.
Go to the NC DMV website and request a copy.
Don't know for sure...I would say they would work with you on that...

How do I go about getting my id
It's the Real ID version. You can take a few utility bills with your address and name on them, bank statement with address, also social security card, passport, and another official issued picture ID and they will replace your current drivers license with the Real ID.
Make an appointment with your DMV online, the we page will explain what you will need.
You will have to go on line ncdmv
They are now recommending you make an appointment
Monday thru Friday all day
Social security card and birth certificate. Cost $15
That short old your chirping about is only 50, and he is a nice guy, till someone steps off at the lip or does something stupid and unsafe. Look at what went on as a 3rd person watching, and then evaluate your conduct realistically.
