My niece paid her court fines and needs to pay restoration fees and get her license back. Can she just walk in the dmv office? Appointments are months away, she is a single mother that needs to drive. Thanks for your response.

No its appointment only BUT... you can pick any dmv office in nc to make a appointment and they show you what dates they have available, so if you are willing to drive you maybe able to get it sooner..hope this helps.
