Check prices at Homedepot before you shop at Monteath, you will find Depot to be cheaper than Monteath. And depot is open 7 days a week and has better returns policy. I recently purchased at Monteath only to find out prices were 20% cheaper at Homedepot.

Great place to get good lumber. Far better and cheaper and way greater selection than the big box stores or even local lumber yards. The stock is not all uniform so you need to have the big tools to rip and join yourself.

I do not work for monteath.. I would say if you haven't already.. Try giving them a call.. They are very helpful... Also if you've never been, give your self a little extra time to wander around in there.. If your used to Home Dopey's wood selection this place is like heaven!
