Kayaking and canoeing is allowed but you have to use the singular boat launching area they have and its not overly accessible, also you'll have to paddle back upstream to get your rig back on land.

Yes therebare a few spots to fish from. Make sure too look at the mapping area so you know which way to go. If not you will end up doing a huge loop befor you find the fishing areas and then figure out its right at the entrance to the right instead of going straight ahead. Hope ive helped!

They are literally brick and mortar out houses at the entrance if the park.

River level did raise up and I believe its gone back down to regular now. There is from time to time good fishing. I've caught some nice bass and cat in there. It all depends how far the river you want to travel for a good spot. It's quiet for sure...

There is a camping area on the south side of the main entrance. Reservations only. Call COSA for info.

The facility is very well managed and maintained, there is a covered picnic area as well as several outlook points with great views that you can hike to for picnicing.

Personally I wouldn't recommend it. The landscaping is left as close to natural as possible and there are snake habitat signs about every quarter of a mile or so. Pearsall park may be a better fit (-:

I'm not sure what the city's official answer for this is, but water moccasins are frequently seen in and around the river area here. Just yesterday we saw a good 6 ft long one sunbathing on a tree root. It completely disappeared from sight once it entered the murky water... I would NOT recommend swimming there.

I guess so but the park is only open sunrise to sunset so that might limit the game a bit.

There are some portions that you can walk along the river. I have never seen it dry, but I would wear boots due to all this rain that we received. Also watch out for snakes.

As long as they are on a leash yes. Just be careful with them rubbing up on the poison ivy.. The ivy is well marked so you'll know where it is. Also please carry poop bags with you so that you can clean up after your pet.

Its decent. Best to get there early though, because people stay at the few designated spots there are to fish all day.

At this location you can't go in the river because they don't allow you to go in and can't camp out in this location the other location on the other side of town maybe but not this one!

NO, do not get in the water. Snags, sharp rocks and snakes. Better to go to a local pool.

There are spots to fish and yes you need license. Even if child fishing there has to be a licensed adult present.
