I can't imagine why they do not have higher reviews. Tough audience I suppose. I have lived in the neighborhood for 15 years and had tried most cleaners in the area. I trust Lois not to lose anything and to charge me appropriately. Despite my frequency of dry cleaning, I have somehow never had one issue. And they seem to have very good employee retention which is always a good sign

Was a long time customer until they ruined one of my favorite shirts. I asked them to pay me back (after they agreed they ruined it) and they never responded. Numerous calls, and multiple “I’ll get back to yous” and after a few weeks of nothing I found a different place. It’s not hard to find dry cleaning in nyc so if you won’t even do the right thing to a loyal customer then why stick with them? Not worth it, recommend you find a different place with better service and who doesn’t ruin your goods! If you’re looking to build a lasting, nice relationship with a local dry cleaner - keep looking, this isn’t the one!
