Overall Shortbread is a great place to live! The gym and study space is really nice. The staff is all great and they do giveaways often which is awesome. The maintenance responds super fast which is very convenient. You're also living practically right on Franklin which makes trips to target and to campus really convenient.

McClaren Hopper

Living at Shortbread this past year has been one of the best experiences thus far at UNC. The apartments are so nicely organized and the maintenance crew has been so accommodating. The gym and coffee bar is unmatched. This place has felt like home and i wish I could stay longer than a year.

Celeste Kidd-O'Brien

Overall a great apartment complex! Gym is a good size, staff are friendly and maintenance is prompt. The building is very close to campus and it is a good transition space from on-campus to off-campus living for college students. Also love the giveaways and treats for the residents, like Nothing Bundt Cakes on Valentine’s Day! I would’ve given 5 stars but the walls are thin and the water heater in each unit is small.

I’ve had a great experience so far throughout my lease here at Shortbread! The amenities are great, the staff is nice, and the apartment is roomy between me and one other person. I’d recommend this apartment complex again :)
