Stratford police have always been professional and courteous in my experiences with them. I oversee a business here and they have helped us out immensely with problematic customers on multiple occasions. I also reside in the town and they always make a point to wave to my young children and say hello to me as a home owner and resident. Some of these negative reviews are clearly coming from a bias opinion (it’s hard to write a neutral honest review if you’ve just been arrested).

I want to thank officer D. Jess for repossessing a vehicle with 3 children in it one was disabled while I was still in my home development. I was NOT on a main traffic road & I begged him to let me go home and he refused. I failed to show registration due to the fact that I've just bought the vehicle 9 days prior. Thank you Stratford police department for your lack of consideration empathy and patience maybe if I looked more like your relatives I would get a pass.

The Great One

Not one black police officer on the force. I believe they have just under 20 officers. Again, not one black cop on the entire force in the year 2022. What else do you need to know?
