It's nice and quiet where I'm at and the maintenance crew is awesome, the only problem but not a big problem that the lighting in the kitchen and livingroom area is to dem not bright enough...but over all love it out here.

Is this place awful? No. Is this place great? Also no. It’s okay. Rent is extremely high. Our barely 800 square feet 2 bedroom 2 bathroom is $1600 per month. The walls are paper thin and I can hear my neighbours across the breezeway inside their apartment with the door closed from my living room. It is obvious this area flooded during Hurricane Florence. Our apartment as visible drywall lines and reeks of mildew. A dehumidifier and air purifier are a requirement for first floor living. Traffic on Gordon and Market are a nightmare. Do not expect to turn left onto Gordon or Market in a timely manner. Waiting ten to fifteen minutes during rush hour is not unheard of. The new freeway bypass is also going in right behind the complex so traffic and traffic noise will get worse. There is no covered parking and depending on where you live in the complex parking is scarce. We have had multiple incidences of parking two buildings away from our own and having to hoof it home. We gave notice we are moving and we’re required to give 60 days plus a lease breaking penalty equivalent to one months rent. Our unit will be completely empty from mid-March to the end of April in the middle of a housing shortage with no chance of someone moving in earlier because of a terrible policy. This place does have some positives. Overall the office staff are efficient and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. The complex backs up to Ogden Park with its own bridge leading into it. It’s close to the Mayfaire shopping area and only 15 minutes to downtown and Wrightsville Beach. We spent less than six months in this complex. It served its purpose but I recommend looking elsewhere unless rent prices go down. There are several nicer complexes nearby with similar rent prices and significantly better amenities and units.

Maintenance here is fast and on top! Your requests are responded to quickly! We had an emergency maintenance after hours. Les was there less than 15 minutes. The carpet vendor within and everything fixed in 2 hours! We live on the 3rd floor so it wasn't an easy or quick fix but they made it happen!! Never have I had that kind of response or even had maintenance that quick or care in my decade of renting around town!!!

T Mistakes

Ac hardly works and maintenance never seems to fix issues and we’ve been out of ac for a week. Clearly knew these were issues for our buildings and still have not corrected the problem.
