If all shelters put this much time and effort into the dogs shelters would not have a bad name, they truly care about the welfare of the dogs even if aggressive they don't give up on them

You have to call ahead of time. Currently Oct 7, 2021, 4pm, they are unable to take cats, there are no cages open and they have 30 cats pending surrender, in the community, per female and male staff encountered on Thursday at our shelter. Was referred to Sullivan County, where I left a message yesterday, they haven't called back yet.
Go to office when open . They will instruct you on hour to do it.
Yes, call them Monday - Saturday 1:00 - 5:30 pm
I am not sure but they are wonderful people and will steer you in the right direction
Go to the shelter and ask them and they will show you what's available
Unfortunately no.
Go to the shelter and fill out an application
They are open until 5pm
I'm not sure about Erwin or if they euthanize there, honestly. I do know the Jonesborough Animal Hospital near the old flea market is where we had to put our dog to sleep about 10 years ago, and they let one of us stay with her so she wasn't alone. I'm sorry you're both going through this, as a pet is your best friend for life. I agree they don't EVER deserve to have to pass alone. Also, the Dry Creek animal hospital has a very nice and sweet vet there. Try calling her.
Best to call them.
When you adopt they will let you know when to bring it back for the spay or neuter clinic. So when you adopt a dog or a cat they go home with you.
I don't think they are open Christmas eve or Christmas day. You can however adopt a cat or dog and take it home the same day if it is ready for adoption. (Meaning it's been fixed and has been given all its shots and chip)
You can always give them a call, too.
You need to call the shelter itself as they will not see the message here.
We currently have no Birds right now but stay in touch we get different animals from time to time.
18 last time I checked unless accompanied by a parent the entire time.
Why won't they call you back they say give me a hour I have a bad problem they can tell me anything never call you back.
