I have never been so misled about costs as from this office. Came in last October to inquire about laser treatment for nail fungus. I knew there was a slim chance that it would work, but I wanted to give it a try. It's not cheap, $600. HOWEVER, I was told this was an ALL IN cost. I asked SEVERAL times if there would be other charges for ANYTHING and was told NO. So far in addition to paying for the laser treatment I was also billed for an additional "doctor's visit" at the halfway mark where they literally came in for less than one minute and said "yep, need the second treatment." (duh) And now I have just received a bill for a lab test of the nail that the doctor said I DIDN'T EVEN NEED on my first appointment. I asked if it wasn't necessary, why do it, and he said "well, just to be sure." Now I think it's so that they could bill over $700 to some lab. Thankfully the lab has agreed to write off over $400 of the cost, but I still owe them a decent amount. I understand that an office may not know how much may or may not be covered by an individual's insurance, however they should always be able to provide a "worst case scenario" for how much they charge if the insurance doesn't cost anything. I'm incredibly disappointed and absolutely can't recommend. The only reason for two stars is that their receptionist is an absolute delight to deal with and the tech that actually provided the laser treatment was so pleasant and professional.
