Recently purchased a Vehicle 2 weeks ago with the help of Jose. Jose made purchasing a vehicle easy and exciting! The only problem I had was the finance department with transferring old tags. I was told that I could not receive paper tags without the purchase of a new tag. The finance man stated that South Carolina will not transfer a tag if its not in hand on day of purchase. The only way I would be able to receive a 30-45 day tag is if i purchase a new tag! Per SCDMV - Dealership’s in SC can give out 30-45 day tags to ride off the lot until you transfer your old tag. Some dealership just don’t want to purchase paper tags! Why Lie???
