Don't do it! Reviews are lies!!! EVERYTHING there and I mean everything was total chaos. If your detoxing and need medication don't expect to get anything right away cause they constantly pass the buck and have excuses, no compassion period. I seen people wait days to start a detox plan. "Paients sharing medication with each other?: No leadership, medical director quit, counselors quit, ALL the nurses quit, foundational staff fired and management has no clue what substance abuse is. Strictly about money. Will keep you there until your insurance can't pay and your out, immediately. You ask to leave but you can not take your personal belongings and have to wait 3 days and they will not mail your belongings YOU have to come back even if you live out of state! If you really need help this is totally not the place to be. All new staff and nothing but delays and disrespectful.

While they helped a bit, they didn't keep my relative long enough. They only kept him a total of 4 or 5 days and they made him leave.

I just want to start by saying since the pandemic I’ve been in a very dark place for a very long time. I resigned from my job due to the mandate on the vaccine, lost my insurance and turned to alcohol for what I thought to be my escape from everyone and everything. After months and months of isolation and drinking, I came to the realization I could not stop this on my own. I am alone in Atlanta and my family is in Ohio where I finally decided that’s where I need to be. With lots of praying and researching I chose to get my help from Atlanta Detox Center in Riverdale Georgia and it was the best decision I ever made. Mr. Original Michael (known to all as O.G.) is the main counselor over the center and I cannot say enough good things about him. He went above and beyond for me not only for my sobriety but other issues as well and he does it for each and every client regardless of what their needs may be. Every staff member at this facility genuinely cares about each and every client that passes through there. I was just recently discharged but I’m on my way to recovery. I already have my meetings set in place as far as AA and will continue to go here in Atlanta and continue when I move back to Ohio! I encourage anyone suffering who is ready to start their new life to please contact ADC also known as Tru Healing. Thanks again to O.G.and the entire staff !!!!
