Wood-Mizer does not offer an electric motor for this particular mill but it is not impossible to fab, Check the europe market for examples of that head with electric but they use 50Hz over there . You would have to have someone help you do all of the engineering required but nothing is impossible . Id say 15hp up in electric keep in mind that sawmill has an alternator so this also is a factor ...

It's not hard to put together. But, the person that wrote the directions in the manuel is either totally unfamiliar with the machine or is just plain bad at his or her job. Wood Mizer has a decent video on how to put it together. I don't know the address for the video, but with a little searching you can find it. No words on the video, just a couple of guys putting it together. Plenty of helpful tips if you get stuck reading the directions. You will need two people to lift the saw head on the frame. The wife and I tried, but she was not strong enough to pick up her side. The wife is now on a strict workout regimen. 😂 I was able to use my tractor and forks to set the saw head on the frame. Took about two days to put it together. It would be much quicker the second time. Mine is mounted to two four by six pressure treated rails with three 4x6 cross braces. I then set it on leveled cap blocks. Congratulations!! You will love it!!

Woodmizer is the portable Saw Mill, it will cut them into lumber, I would be interested in getting some of them. I have a Mill here in Vidalia.
