My daughter really enjoys this skate park. TEMPLE Parks and rec put on a late skate for kids! Free drinks,.contest, and great people. Other people helping each other with tricks and tips. Beautiful paved trails to walk on, lake with ducks, splash pad for the kids, playground and Pavillions. This park has it all!

Pleasant park. Nice facilities. Splash pad and playground for kids. Only negative was a couple of loose dogs. Small and probably from neighborhood. Well groomed. Friendly. But scrounging food. They appeared well fed.

Pretty serene park in the evenings and there's a small pond for fishing...as well as a basketball court, play area for kids, splash pad, and 3 pavilions to rent for cookouts. The walking trail is the main reason we go to exercise.

Shaded areas for those hot days when you want to get out of the sun, and plenty grassy area for a picnic, a splash pad, a large play scape area for the kids to play, a pond where you can feed the ducks, benches, tables for events, and bathrooms. I gave it 4 stars because it's right by a cemetery which is creepy for kids (and that's straight from a 8 year old).

I'm not sure, but you can contact the parks and recreation Dept. with the City of Temple, they can inform you. I know you have to book way in advance because it's a very popular place.

It's supposed to stop be on. The fireworks are supposed to start at 9:30. I would check the forecast for that time. Also try checking out the Facebook page Discover Temple. They usually have up to date into.
