It is not about customer service or how clean the vehicle was or other conveniences. The cost of renting a vehicle, even a so called economy one is far two expensive. My rental was a Spark, barely large enough for my suitcase, cost over $50.00 a day.

It depends on your method of payment. If you are using a major credit card, you only need your drivers license. If you're using a debit card, they require a utility bill and proof of fulltime employment, and you have to have an NC license and live in the local area. The coverages they offer to protect the rental are not expensive, but you do pay the price per day.
Call or visit and see if they found it
If your son is the only one driving the vehicle, he has to put a card in file in his name. You can either be listed as the primary renter (you need a license) and add him on as an additional driver for an additional fee. Or you can be present at his time of return to pay at the end.
No you don't pay anything.... You just pick it up once your ins com reserve it..
Just depends if they have it ready. I had to wait because they still had to wash and vacuum mine.
