So Disappointed in SC Works I am a senior who is looking for part-time remote work. This office wasted hours of my time and did not help me AT ALL! It was nothing like what I was used to and experienced in another state. I took a 3 hour exam to see if I would qualify for WIOWA. It was a ridiculous exam with little relevance to the working world and after I took it I was told WIOWA is only for full-time job seekers. That was it! No help, no assistance after that. I did go to one job fair and there were no part-time jobs represented at the job fair.

Came down here after multiple attempts on the phone with ppl who could care less and guess what...these ppl here could also still care less. I just needed help figuring out how to change some information and the lady actually said "well we can't file the unemployment for you. You have to do that." I said, "you can see I have already successfully filed, but somwthings wrong." She said, "call the number to the regular office while you're sitting here and see what they say ". I explained i would not be calling the regular number bc I've already called 6 times over the last 3wks. Then I told her, this is just the tip of the iceberg and I'm still owed $1200 from February! She said "well we can't help you". So long story short, BIG waist of time... if you're struggling with your s.c. claim, don't come here bc they can't get you past what your screen currently says.
