My husband and I embarked on a very extensive kitchen remodel, which resulted in taking everything down to the studs and bare subfloor. As a result, we were overwhelmed with creating a workable kitchen layout and how to make the most of the square-footage we had available. That is where Joel Linn of Forest Kitchen Design Studio came in to save the day. Joel provided us with incredible insight and the perfect design for how to orient our working zones so that everything flows optimally between our island cooktop, sink, pantries, and refrigerator. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every bit of the kitchen's functionality and aesthetics were considered and reflected in the design of the cabinetry and appliances. We had met with other companies in the area who touted kitchen design services, but their inability to create their own innovative layouts and the poor quality of their cabinetry made working with Forest Kitchen Design Studio an easy choice. From the choices in cabinetry, finishes, the quality of the design work, to the installation, everything was smooth and stress free. Joel maintained excellent communication through out the entire process; even the warehouse team out of Asheville (who delivered our cabinetry) were prompt, communicative, and extremely respectful of our home. We couldn't be happier with the end result of our Plain & Fancy cabinetry and our amazing new kitchen. You can literally feel the difference in our cabinets compared to other competing suppliers. For us, it's all the many small features (soft touch satin paint finish, solid hardware, etc.) that set these beautifully well built cabinets apart from the rest and solidify why we chose to work with this company.
