This was my families first visit. It's a beautiful place. You will need to pay $10 to park for personal vehicle to access the swimming area. I wasn't expecting that but I completely get. We've been to other parks you pay per person. This was better. Thankfully I had cash on me. We loved our time swimming and climbing the rocks. What I was extremely disappointed in the amount of trash we picked up. I know the water level is way down so some of what we cleaned up had been unearthed from the low water. Other than that we had a blast and will definitely be back!

We stopped in to the Quartz Mountain State Park Office and subscribed for a yearly 🅿️ pass. This is a must if you plan on returning or frequenting participating pay to park OK state parks. As newbies to the town we first heard of the park from friends who have experienced the town and surrounding areas before us. It didn't take much to convince us of our first day trip in town! Did not disappoint. The views are drastically different than the surrounding valleys/ plains, it's like stepping into a picture. The lakes/rivers are beautiful, the landscape is surreal. There are hiking trails for every level, camping, and much to do. The park is wonderfully kempt. Fresh air, fitness, and absolute splendor, we will absolutely be back

We decided to try one of these out. The food itself was really good! The appetizer was fried pickles. Wasn’t impressed with those, they’re cut way to thin & were so over salted! We had great service & a sweet lady server. To bad they closed them all already. I hope they get to reopen. Get all this settled & if they’re lucky the governor will admit his fault in the whole deal! The sweet corn was amazing & the little apple fritters they bring out with you drinks r amazing too.

Sweet park to visit or camp at. Fishing, boating, swimming etc.. Would love to visit again. Make sure to pick a day that’s not windy!!

We stayed in the lodge. You can find particulars on the Discover Oklahoma web site about the park itself. Hope this helps some.
Spent couple nights in pop up...had electric/water.. great time. .however, inconsiderate people crapping all over toilets seats not cleaning up after self both early morning visits...shower I used couldn't regulate water faucet ..very hot...I know bathrooms are cleaned...met employee cleaning...
There's a lodge and the end of the bridge but Foss has one on a dock
No. The whole little park is closed and up for sale. It's so sad. BUT the putt putt place that rents canoes and kayaks down the road below the Damn is open
I couldn't be sure. I've only been once, not on a holiday. You could try reserving a spot online perhaps.
Don't know because we were there in the winter when they were closed
In the office or online you can get discounts in the office
The Quartz in the Mountain.
If they are not busy, you can also scan a QR code at an open campsite to reserve after you get there, but beware cell signals aren't great.
Call the Quartz Mountain Resort at 1 877-999-5567
Not only can you do just that you can enjoy the beauty of the park with trails or just soak up all the beauty of the lake! Me opinion is that it is Heaven on earth!
https://www.rv-camping.org/ Shows that there are quite a few
It was under water four months the have to check the elect so no will get hurt or killed
Sometimes, but it's pretty disorganized. Here's the official link to it's "Eagle's Roost ATV Area": https://www.quartzmountain.org/orvs.html This ATV park on the North shore allows ATVs, but it closes at random times with no reason why. For example, it's closed right now but has no sign stating why it's closed or when it'll reopen. Been that way for a long time.
Yes, contact the office (listed in website) and book any of the cabins.
The handicap cabins are very handicap accessible. I visited inside one that my cousin rented and it is very nice.
Yes
There is a charge for overnight camping. A park ranger usually comes by and collects in the evening. It's not much, think around 10 bucks..
The sites are first come, first serve. You set up and Rangers come to you to collect. Availability depends on how many arrivals we have. There are no reservations for RV spots. I work at Lodge, but I know that information. Sites run $20. -25. depending on the type of hookups you need. Scissortail campground has 2 50amp hookups.
You can still get a boat right now, some fishing is still good
Just for areas below the dam, I believe...paddle boats is all I've seen there. I've heard there's a guy that rents kiyaks&have seen a trailr loaded w/them. Dont know just where tho...
The cabins r beautiful n very nice, for sure csll prices r different for the different sizes n at different times of the year. Very beautiful area!
Yes their are group rates, call n go relax, it's beautiful there!
