Beautiful, serene, well kept, clean park.
Good for everyone, families, couples, walk your pet or jump on the water. Plenty of parking spaces, children's play area, restrooms and walking trail.
You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful park! Play ground, picnic tables, charcoal grills, outlets around, & the bathroom was super clean. Lots of ducks and geese around, kind of seems like they were dropped off at some point but fun to watch. Horses are allowed as well.

Always love visiting this park. It's so well maintained. A cool place to take your kids or hang out without them!

The entrance for the River park is $5 during the Summer. The times I've been to, it's been on the weekend so I won't know if during the week is free of charge.
So where exactly is this skate park supposed to be? And when do they ever open those gates to drive through? Walking half a mile to a nice spot away from crowds just to eat a nice lunch is ridiculous.

Yes it's open tomorrow...cost is $5 per person ages 4 and up...3 and younger are free
It's a public park, there is no fee, along the bank if the river, benches, shade, can wade, etc.. If you gave a fur baby make sure they are leashed, deer feed on the grounds later in the evening before dark, also carry poo bags to clean up behind your pets please. It is a beautiful little park very close to downtown, walking distance to main area!! Vert peaceful and serene place to sit and listen to the running water, bird watch, meditate etc... read a book have a picnic whatever comes to mind.
