I was a little worried because a lot of reviews mentioned very long wait time, but this was the fastest and most straightforward donation experience I’ve ever had (went late on a weeknight, so maybe it’s worse on weekends??) and the staff was fantastic 😊 Definitely will come back!!

The person responsible for scheduling appointments at this location should lose their job. I had an appointment and when I arrived I was told the wait time would be up to an hour after my scheduled appointment. Extremely unprofessional and uncoordinated staff. The queue system is miserable, nobody knows who's up next to have their vitals checked before donating. My universal donor blood will never come back to this location. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time and energy it takes to work with this donation center. There are probably other better donation centers in the city.

Really kind and efficient staff. The process went smoothly!

In & out in less than 1 hour. Very well run center. I arrived early & they took me right in. No problem

NY Blood center has a donor points program that can convert to gift cards, NYBC swag, or other catalog items. Platelet donors (who are allowed to donate every 7 days), also can get extra points for meeting donation challenges.
They're very good here. For whole blood you'll be there for less than an hour. But if you have time you should consider donating platelets.
So u don't get paid to donate plasma in PA they pay u $60 everttime

Nope, you only have to be healthy and have a legal ID.
You just have to go in. As long as you are in good health you should be able to donate. For blood you can donate about once every 8 weeks or so. For platelets every 7 days
No, you get points in a gift system, but you do not get paid for donations.
No
Yes
They don't buy plasma. There is a rewards program where you earn points with donations and then they can be redeemed for different things
