You may be able to park on South St. opposite the ferry terminal but check the signs. There is paid parking in the area also.

It's really nice. Went with my husband just last Saturday and we can't wait to go back! There are lots of charming houses. Some have been turned into art galleries. There's lots of green grass and trees with shade. It's like Central Park but smaller and less crowded with tourists! You can rent a bike, have a picnic, buy food from trucks/stands and take in the amazing view of NYC!
