No stars…staff is inconsistent and we jus want to move our stuff out and had a set date and was jus a little bit late but rented out a uhall and was trying to tell us we can’t get our stuff. Also said if we can get it she’s gonna take our stuff and put it in storage with attitude and arguing with us when all we want is to move our stuff out

One word to describe 10 Prince St Apartments, AKA Berger Properties, that would be GREED!! I lived in my apartment there for 9 years before Berger took over the building. In the short time I was a resident under Berger Properties, I was made to renew my lease twice, both with increases in my rent, adding fees that I never had to pay before. Early on as I could see the renovations to the building and the apartments were starting, I was assured by the buildings property manager, at the time, that current residents would not be forced out. That certainly was untrue, when as my second lease was expiring I was given notice that my lease would not be renewed and that I would be forced to vacate my home of almost 12 years so they can begin renovate my apartment and collect higher rent from a new resident. I knew other residents of the building who had been there over 20 years and they too were being forced out onto the street. I find it very sad that State of Pennsylvania offers no rights to residents that have been in their homes for say over 10 years and they allow these Greedy Property Management Companies like Berger Properties to have all of the power and control.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Most of the residents are also super friendly. It is unfortunate how thin the walls between the apartments are, you’ll hear your neighbors scream and play loud music late at night more than any street noise. Doing any work from home or having a normal sleep schedule are not possible at 10 Prince

I absolutely love my apartment. My one bedroom is the perfect size for me and my plants. Apartments are equipped with all the things to make life easy (washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc). The balcony is a plus, I have an amazing view of the sun setting every night over Lancaster. The location is convenient not only for my work but all things city. Rachel and the team here are truly amazing, they have helped me out in so many ways and I appreciate them for that. Love that I call this place my home!

You are free to rent out your apartment on Airbnb.
Yes, you can break your lease for job transfers more than 50 miles, military service, and hospice care, and you won't need to pay us a lease-break fee.
Yes, you have the option to pay a one-time fee as low as $199 in place of a security deposit if approved.
Yes, you are free to have up to 2 pets of any weight. There is a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $200 per pet. The monthly pet rent is $25 per pet. Breed restrictions apply. All pets must be up-to-date on all vaccines.
