Great camping spot near the springs! Family-owned and operated, and you can feel the difference! Checked in late and met the owner’s daughter in the morning to pay & get a cup of coffee. Goats, chickens, pigs, dogs and kitties add a special flair to the once biker’s bar turned campground. Don’t miss out!

Great experience here! Big camp sites that are very private and shady. Showers are very rustic, but I liked that. Bathrooms were clean. They could use another stall or two, but there’s porta-lets around the grounds to make up for it. Awesome animals on site and a nice arcade room, but sadly we didn’t get to play since we didn’t have quarters and the change machine was broken. Ice and firewood on site, No laundry. Very close to the springs, even had tube rental from the campground! Hope to come back!

I love bringing the family to this place. With tubing, kayaking, and a great swimming hole nearby, it's the perfect little getaway. The staff are friendly and attentive. There are pool tables and games available to cure boredom, and you meet some great people.

Good separation between tent sites. Nicely wooded with fire ring and picnic table. Water available at a central location. Clean bathrooms in the camp store. Has gaming room. Animals kept by friendly owners were a nice surprise!

There is power at some sites and most definitely a dump station - the smell that occasionally wafts over site 1 attests to that.
Yes you can there is not even a leash law rule there.
No
I think check in is at 3:00 but I was told if your spot was already empty then you could check in earlier. Only thing is there's no way to know so I would just go at 3:00

A mile or less. It's a really nice place to camp and relax in the woods
Nope. Completely away from the springs. No fishing allowed. Better off going up manatee springs
Very private, All the site's are unique in size and shape, they are carved out of the woods surrounded by tree's
The campground is located by the North entrance which has a playground and BBQ
The bar closed about 7 year's ago. June still owns the campground. She has someone help run it now. She & Joe lives close by and still keep a eye on the campground. Joe runs his tube center Buffalo Joe's #7

Is your reference to calling every time referring to efforts you made in a single day? If so, and it was a busy day or a busy time of day than the lines could have been tied up with calls.
