UPDATE: 9/20/22 Been to this office twice recently and had almost no wait either time, lots of helpful folks. HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!!!. KIDOS to those in charge. Was 1 star, now I give 5 stars. Terrible and getting worse. LONG wait to pay tag fees and taxes. There are lots of windows with only 1 or 2 open at a time. Every time I go there are long lines. And almost no employees helping. The tax commissioner needs to be voted out.

It is open to the public right now but the last time I went I had to call and make an appointment to be able to get in. You may want to look up Hall County tag office or Tax Assessor's Office to check to see if you need an appointment.
You have to get the paperwork filled out by your Dr . You will take it to the tag office and they can give you a handicap tag

The sticker yes. But the metal tag I don't think so. There should be renewal info on the paper you got in the mail.
I have moved to Gainesville so what do I need to take with me to get a Georgia tag?
