Nice clean park. Book very early if you want a site that views the water. Not a park for people ( older, not-so-mobile) who can’t hike very far. It was very quiet and restful. Next time I will try to plan sooner to get nearer water and breezes

This is a primitive campground and the sites are spread out enough that you can hardly see the next campsite, so lots of privacy if that’s your thing. Three stars reflects the fact that there is only ONE shower house for the entire campground that was located about 3/4 mile from our site (#122). All the toilets are drop pits, but were well maintained so it wasn’t too much of a nightmare to use one. Beautiful peaceful location, just too isolated.

Stunning beauty at this campground. Great hiking trails covered in moss. Wonderful paddling in the bay. Great star gazing. The facility was super clean and the ranger was super kind and helpful.

Extremely nice State Park with fantastic bay side picnic spots. Had picnics two different days: one day did breakfast and hiked; the second day used a different picnic spot and did lunch and hiked.

We came in on the 1st of August without a reservation and were able to stay until the 12th.
Yes. They must be declared when you reserve. And kept in cobtrol and with you. You cant tie them up alone.
No! There is a Fee for camping. My suggestion is to visit Cobbscook Bay State Park and scope out the campsites. There is no power available!
Reservations open every year in February. I believe its Feb 5 and you can book for that calendar year.
No
7 and 8 are for rvs 102, 103, 124 and 125 but last two are not reservable.. ....we spent 25 nights there in July
Best to call ahead for specific availability
Yes to showers and restroom. There are out houses as well near the sites.
I hope not. That would be destructive to the area.
