We were just in town for a wedding and we thought we would check out this church i found online. They were very friendly people and the pastor took time to talk to us. The music and service was very good. If we weren't from out of town we would be attending there. Like!

Grace Fellowship of Lakewood is a wonderful church, we are so blessed! Such a warming and caring community.

I was in the Denver area for a week of meetings for work, and I wanted to attend church service on Sunday which is Important. I looked on line for a church in the area and found Grace Church. The pastor had created a video for visitors describing what a first time visitor could expect. I was intrigued that a pastor would be that interested in welcoming potential visitors to his church that way. I decided to attend the Sunday morning service. I found the church members thoughtful and friendly. I met a college student who was doing an internship at the church as a worship leader. I met two wonderful sisters in Christ who greeted members and visitors graciously; they especially greeted the children and teenagers. I met Lots of friendly members of the congregation. The worship was good and focused on the Lord Jesus. The Pastor preached so well. He was prepared to preach Gods word clearly unapologetically with quiet power. He preached from a passage in Revelations 13: 11 onward. It’s a week later and I remember the message of his preaching. I certainly felt at home at Grace Church Lakewood. Today is Sunday and I’ll be at my Church in Bayonne New Jersey happy to be home; I will be praying for my brothers and sisters at Grace Lakewood that wonderful church in Colorado, led by a great pastor.

Great church. Our congregation meets there.

We believe Christ will return and usher in the millennial kingdom, but as far as the specifics of whether there will be a pre-tribulation rapture or His return is after the tribulation, we do not take an official stance. You will find people at Grace who have different views in that regard. What we all agree on is that Jesus is returning and one day we will be with Him in the New Heavens and the New Earth for eternity if we have put our faith in Him. I hope that helps David.
Technically it is nondenominational, but we are part of Converge (converge.org) which was once known as Baptist General Conference. While technically not a denomination with denominational hierarchy, it is a movement of likeminded church's working together for a common mission. You can find out what we believe here: http://www.gfol.org/statement-of-faith/ We are firmly and unapologetically, but lovingly Christian.
Amber, you will experience a band that plays modern worship music, but also mixes in great hymns of the faith. Our worship is intended to be God focused and bring people into the presence of God.
We do have several small groups that meet throughout the week. We don't have any that are focused on college age people at this time, although we have college age people at our church. They have generally either joined other groups or have community through CCU (many of them are CCU students).
