Interesting walk around

I love dinosaurs, but didn’t love how the authorities closed the road and I felt the science and learning wasn’t too informative. Most remains were unmarked without a description. Likely nice for young kids, but for all the money spent ‘managing’ this ridge, i was pretty unimpressed…

Take the shuttle bus ride. The guide had good stories and facts about the area. I feel like that provided way more information than if we would have just hiked it. All the staff at the visitor center were great to talk with.

Even if the visitors' center is closed the ridge itself is accessible by foot or bike.
Usually sunny and pleasant. It might snow but won't hang around long
You wouldn't be able to do the bus tour or visit the museum. The walk itself is free and only "closes" at night.
Just go in and tell them you want to do the your the bus comes about every 30 mins
Yes and be aware the majority is paved and will be very hot for paws if it's 85 degrees or higher
Thanks for the inquiry and thank you to all the great responses! Our Dinosaur Pass includes a guided bus tour of our sites and entry to our indoor exhibits for $10 adults, $8 children aged 3-12. 2 and under are free. If you are looking to hike you are welcome to go any time from sun up to sun down for free! Entry to our exhibits is $2 if you aren't buying the full tour ticket.
