Even if the visitors' center is closed the ridge itself is accessible by foot or bike.
I doubt the place would be open but as other reviewers have mentioned that you can still access the ridge itself.
You can walk over the ridge. It's a nice walk not too long. You can stay on the road on way then take the dirt path up and over the other way. Both have things to see. It is amazing to see and beautiful. The bus is nice but walking you can take your time. You can always go see the museum another day.
Closed - Musuem n Bus. Open - Ridge by walk
Just park and walk. No problem.
Yes as the others were saying it may be closed, u do have access the the road, and also redrocks park is on the other side there is a little parking lot at the end of the road u could have someone meet u down there, of course they have to go around either on I 70 or c 470, but then you can cruise up to redrocks park.
Hello! As others here have mentioned, our gift visitor centers will be closed, but the road is open to visitors from sun up to sun down! The hike is around 1.1 miles one way, and is perfect for strollers as it's paved. If you'd like the guided bus tour and to go through our indoor exhibits, we will be open 9am on Friday and the cost for everything is $8/person, 3 and under free.
No..sorry...
Id wait till they are open pay the 5 dollar fee or so. Forgot that the fee was to be driven around because it seems like a long walk back and forth.
