I have been using Denver's Best Heating for several months. I’m very happy with the service that they gave us in fixing our broken furnace. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Denver's Beat Heating and AC repair were quick to respond. The quote to replace my ac unit was fair. I was happy that they were able to schedule me on a Sunday. The technician was knowledgeable and straightforward. I recommend Denver’s Best Heating!

Denver's Beat Heating and AC repair was quick to respond and communicated clearly. They came when they said they would, and did a great job onsite. When he arrived there were two ways of approaching the install, they did an excellent job telling me the pros and cons and costs associated with both and left the decision up to me. They were also very patient with all my questions.

I called them last Sunday and they were able to send the technician the same day. He was able quickly diagnose the issue with the blower motor and replaced it the next day. I could tell he was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. The price was a bit higher than on a weekday, but I was happy that they were able to schedule me on a Sunday and were able to fix it the same day. It is worth it.

Questions & Answers

I heard that a specific refrigerant will soon become illegal in the United States. Can you tell me more about it?

As of January 1st, 2020, the manufacture and import of R-22 freon “refrigerant” will be illegal in the United States. This doesn’t mean that R-22 can’t be used anymore, or that machines that utilise R-22 must be immediately replaced; it simply means that only recovered, recycled, or reclaimed R-22 supplies will be available for use. We wrote a post about it, here's the URL: https://www.denversbestheatingandacrepair.com/r-22-freon-refrigerant-phase-out/

How long do HVAC systems tend to last?

Hellos Xavier, Furnaces last between 15-20, air conditioners 10-15 years. Many time it also depends on how well they have been maintained over the years and whether the furnace is not leaking carbon monoxide. As of January 1, 2020, the R22 refrigerant will be phased out and will become illegal in the US. Therefore, if your ac unit is over 10 years old, you might need to think about replacing it with a new AC unit that has the R410A refrigerant or retrofit your old R22 unit to be used with the new R410A refrigerant.
