I go do aquatics once a week on Friday mornings - love it! It's always clean, & the staff is friendly!
Andrew Domonkos
Okay place, staff could be friendlier.
Night army Star chaser
Every time we want to go swimming the wave pool has been broken! And all the stuff opens at certain times so like we get bored waiting for everything to open!!! But other wise it’s so fun!
Kendra Whittaker
The pool wasn't designed for aqua classes and you are crowded trying to exercise. Mgmt won't open all lanes for the one hour class. Not a good situation.

Your parents have to be there with you until the age of 13
in 3-5 weeks. Early to mid February. We're currently training staff for the GO

They will be open on Wednesday morning because thwy were xlosed due to maintenance they were doung and then Labour day weekend!!
It will be open next Wednesday
I'm not sure Debbie. The best thing to do is come by and talk with the players
Depends if your a thorton resident but residents are around $5 a person for the rec center.......at the park putsode there is a super cool merry go round for only $1 a ride!!!
Too early for Christmas
There is a slide in the pool area. It goes putside the building, but is fully enclosed.
The basketball courts are never been closed...is there something wrong with it?
I pay around 5 dollars per visit. Also you can get a monthly pass for 40 bucks a month. You can also get 20 punch cards which brings down the cost per day to 4$
When the pool opens up again (some time this month - March 2022) they should resume water aerobics classes.
Still under remodel
No. They are still working on it.
Not sure, but we do use people doing Community Sevice hours in Parks Department. Not sure who would need to contact.
No, not at this time
The pool is closed while they renovate it until next year I believe.
The Carpenter Recreation Center pool is under going complete renovations and is closed until the first part of 2021.
Yes
Everyday is different. Check thier website
Yes
There is a pool next to the large slide meant for smaller kids and the wave pool has a zero depth entry section that would be good for a 3 year old.
Yeah I think u can
play what? There's basketball, volleyball, tennis, and more.
Open swim varies from day to day, what day Saturday is usually noon to 6:30 pm
6.50 if you are not a thornton resident
Depending on age, resident free to $3.75. Non residents free to $5.50.
They open the pool at 11:30 and close at 6PM
I would not say alot but there are some that play.
I don't work there but the way it works is you must provide proof of residency in Thornton Colorado and swimming in the pool is free but you have to go to the recreation center and they'll give IDs for you and your kids
Best thing to do is look on there web site.
Talk to the staff at the rec center and then file a police report.
It will tell you on their website here. http://www.cityofthornton.net/recreation/facilities/Pages/carpenter-recreation-center.aspx Resident W/Recreation ID Age Price 0-2 = FREE 3-12 = $2.25 13-17 = $2.75 18-61 = $4 62+ = $2.50 Nonresident W/Recreation ID Age Price 0-2 = FREE 3-12 = $3 13-17 $3.75 18-61 = $5.50 62+ = $3.25 NO Recreation ID Age Price 0-2 = FREE 3-12 = $4 13-17 = $5 18-61 = $6.50 62+ = $4.50
I use my dirty sneaker card so you should be fine!
Yes they do, and for future reference please check out their pool schedule: https://www.cityofthornton.net/recreation/Documents/Fall%20Pool%20Schedule.pdf
It is mostly available for adult laps at 5:30AM to 8:30AM from Mondays to Fridays if you'd like more information on the schedule here is the link: https://www.cityofthornton.net/recreation/Documents/Fall%20Pool%20Schedule.pdf - I hope you enjoy your time, Haz.
When I was there a couple of weeks ago the main hot tub is out of service till they remodel the pool area. The 6 person hot tub they are using till then is up and running.
Yes
Its $ 5.50 for resident, $6.50 non resident, steam room ,Roman hot tub, and all the weights, and swimming included all day, get a pass to get back in that day.
Alex Kinder it says 16 and 13-15 with a card
I recommend to call them for accurate info.
It's opened right now and they and they are still remodeling the pool area
If you're an adult and don't have a recreation center photo ID they will charge you $7 (that includes swimming, sauna, hot tub/jacuzzi, water slide, steam room). Recreation center photo IDs come in 2 sets - Resident with Rec center photo ID and Non-resident with Rec center photo ID. Price ranges vary depending on the photo IDs. I'd love to mention every possible detail such as Individual Annual Pass, Six Month Pass, Pool Hours and many more but it's gonna be a TLDR (Too Long Don't Read) info. For more info please visit the following link: http://www.cityofthornton.net/recreation/facilities/Pages/carpenter-recreation-center.aspx
I'm sorry , but I don't know the answer to your question . You can go online and look , though ..
A new temporary hot tub has been set up because the repair of the built-in hot tub requires emptying out the entire pool.
New hot tub or health hazard..that tub they got is like one you get for your home..there is no way that tub is clean with the amount of volume it sees..enter at your own risk if you ask me..please hurry and work out something to fix the real one..the community deserves better than that..spwnd some money that you've made over the yrs and get it done..
Rates depend on residency and age. The following are daily rates. Resident W/Recreation ID FREE $2.25 $2.75 $4 $2.50 Nonresident W/Recreation ID FREE $3 $3.75 $5.50 $3.25 NO Recreation ID FREE $4 $5 $6.50 $4.50 http://www.cityofthornton.net/recreation/facilities/Pages/carpenter-recreation-center.aspx
Sorry I do not know. Please call park & ask them
Go to the customer service desk on the main floor. If you want a resident card you must show proof of address.
I'm not sure if they do or not. Maybe check the web site
I can't remember the price.. (but was very Cheap) 4 Adults and 4 Children 5,6,8 & 8) for less that $40 dollars.. zmight have been even less. And the pool areas are all awesome 3 section pool
It depends on a few factors, talk to the front desk. They do day passes and yearly stuff as well
? What? They only have an indoor pool! They do have a water lark feature near the playground, but ita hard telling if that gets shut down for specific weather or not. Ive seen some on in the early evening( almost dark) and about to rain (sprinkling)
Olympic plus.. They have slides too. Very cool layout and excellent staff/lifeguards. We go all the time, kids love it
This park is awesome. It has so many activties you can do. This includes renting equipment for the lake
Drinks and coolers only on the fourth of July show or movie in the park nights!
No its not free
There's a hot tub, a steam room, a kiddie pool with raining mushroom, a place to swim laps, a diving board, a second pool with a kiddie slide, a big slide, and a lazy river/circle. Great place for adults and kids.
Depends on what you are looking for. Open swim is 1:30-4:30pm and 7-8pm
I believe it's later on weekends but should close normally weekdays except Friday at 6
