Estes Park Visitor Center Parking Garage

Nice multi-story parking garage on south side of Lake and River. It has a few free electric recharging stations for electric vehicles. The circular path east splits into the Matthews-Reeser Bird Sanctuary to the left and around the Lake or you can go on the south path around the lake counter-clockwise. Beware of elk, especially with calves. They can be very dangerous to humans or dogs. The path over the bridge to the north from the parking garage is the Visitors' Center with nice restrooms and information. Going west from the parking garage takes you into the downtown business district of Estes Park.

This was the best fireworks display I have ever seen!! Parking was easy to find in the garage, even though they are doing something.

I challenge you to find all 12 bronze pikas in the city. It's not easy or possible without asking people in shops! So fun, takes hours!

One of the few places in Estes you can still park for free. Unfortunately it's quite a walk to the downtown area and the shuttles can't handle the rush in a rain storm during summer season. Be sure to take your raincoat if your walking.
