My husband booked us a cabin here for one night for one of the last nights of our honeymoon. The owner was more than accommodating when we asked for another cabin due to the size of the bed in the one originally given. Thank you so much for assuring a comfortable stay for us ! The spiveys ❤️

Apparently there was a mistake on the dates that were requested and billed. I was told on 9-2-2022 I would receive a phone call on the morning of 9-3-2022. I spoke to a gentleman last night 9-2 about the date confusion. I would like to know what can be done to make the arrangements I spoke to him about? The arrangements were to change the dates to the weekend before or after the October requested dates. The confusion was the dates I entered were for October 28th, 29th which is my wife's bday. I am unsure how they were moved to August. He stated that the owner would call me back on 9-3-2022. He did say he called my residence however the call went to a junk folder and I knew nothing about it until after speaking with him. . We did not stay at the resort during the dates you have listed August 28th, 29th 2022. We were both working at our jobs on the dates you have listed. Well needless to say I thought we had things worked out. I thought the dates and every thing was fixed. I received an email mail saying paid in full. Then I received another email saying I owed a deposit of 471 more dollars. On 9-23-2022 I received a phone call from a Danette. She decided to cancel everything because I placed the original amount in dispute. It's funny how she can become upset at me. She never called me back within 72 hours even though I was told she would. No Follow through is why I left a negative review ,because it never happened as promised. It was nearly a week later. I have all phone calls and emails. She also canceled everything and said I won't get my 950 plus back for the screw up on the reservation. She also told me the reservation was canceled due to the negative review. This was an honest review and in accordance to the 2016 law consumer review fairness act . I never received any good or services. The review could have been changed to reflect the cooperation but instead she was angry. Very poor management of a business. Things could have been worked out on both sides but now it will never Happen. Customer service is everything when it comes to spending money at a place.

Stayed in cabin #7. Was not clean. Bugs on the floor, spiders in the shower. The hottub didn't even work. Paid $300/night. Management (after days in between each email) did nothing but offer a measly 10% discount on my NEXT stay when I'll probably never be back in the area for several years. Toilet paper is single ply truck stop toilet paper. They wouldn't let me check in any earlier than 3:30 due to "cleaning to get it ready." Very unpleased with the stay, and more unpleased on how management tried to deal with the situation.

Booked cabin 4 for a week through AirBnB. I was honestly a little skeptical but we absolutely loved this place. It was clean, private, and had everything you need for a vacation. Would come here again absolutely.
