Well after a little work project I did for a customer I had leftover waste as to be expected. After looking around all day for a nearby dump I decided to give the place a try. So first I’ll begin with the good. The guy who greeted us was very pleasant and very nice. It’s a smaller dump site but still very good to use. Now the bad. When I followed the directions from my phone it took me to a small neighborhood with it being no where in site. After backtracking I found it to be the total opposite direction the maps gave me. Your gonna wanna go turn on Keller st. and keep going straight. Took me about 30 minutes figure it out . ( And I know this wasn’t the dumps fault ) Secondly I saw there was no phone number…. So it was hard to find out what items I could dump and what not. Other than that I would definitely go back again! 👍🏻

I'm pretty sure people from outside the township can use the facility. You must go to the swatara township building at 599 Eisenhower Blvd and purchase a compost facility pass. They sell day passes and yearly passes. I'm not sure what price is but it's relatively cheap.

The permit prices are listed on the swatara municipal website. Last time I checked, they were $30+ per day, $300+ annually.
