Pizza was good .... went on a Wednesday which was an open mic night . Ummm very very tiny spot , I mean it's the Bronx .... everyone was smoking weed , alot of cross dressers , high heels and all lol . Home girl preformed , had a decent night . Little over crowded , train theme outdoor seating was cool , except for the dudes standing all over the seats and swinging from the bars .... I'm good , not my type of crowd , just went for support .... Gooooo Leche !!!

Very social spot. I like the events they have. Cool spot despite the bad reputation the neighborhood receives. I recommend it.

The only neighborhood cafe spot. The ambiance is dark and chiche as the place is covered in old bits and memorabilia of the neighborhood in the attempt to preserve the history of Hunts Point. It's true that Hunts Point has never had a Starbuck's, (Thank Goddess!) and this Coffee house is owned and operated by community leaders from the neighborhood. Don’t let the outward appearances fool you. This coffee house is definitely more than it seems! The staff is always sweet and treat us with respect and a smile. It sorta serves as a community gathering place, with weekly events such as Open Mic, Featured Artists, Painting Classes, costume contests, and even yours truly has become a part of the tribe, and does Tarot Card Readings for a modest $5 fee!

Thanks Alberto - we are working hard to attract other businesses to serve all of our needs right here...
Hello - Nadine is right on many levels (below). You can always talk to us. All of our events are completed before midnight, and usually conclude before 11pm. There are many people in our community who do not respect the needs for sleep and decorum that you note. We are not them. They were acting like that before we opened up, and will around even if we stop. The outdoor aspects of our events is necessary because of Covid - which is something we all have to deal with until it's "over". We apologize for any transgressions that can be traced back to our business. We hope you will agree that we keep the corner cleaner, and safer than many other spots in Hunts Point, and that we bring a new level of joy and community where there was not enough before.
