Where do you go for higher quality food, coffee, social space?

To be honest right now, there arent many places in the bronx where you can get higher quality food, coffee and a good social place. I would have to commute like 45 mins to Manhattan to enter a barnes and nobles and go to their starbucks. It is good to have something equally good in my old neighborhood in the bronx.

Manhattan sucks

Boggie Down Grind sandwiches are good, nice atmosphere, I haven't had their coffee yet but soon Boggie Down Grind, Panera Bread and Starbucks will do the trick.
