Extremely comfortable place to go that has every single one of your library functions with their own awesome extensions. Family like staff. My review much later still remains the same. NCHCPL is one of the cleanest and friendliest libraries I've ever been to. 🙃

Great library. Easy access to all. The community is blessed to have such an amazing facility.

Great place and all very comfortable and nice books except for some people there that have made the experience a bit confusing like me and my friend we was in the kids area and we are teens, the Teen scape was closed and we was jest sitting down and this mean old lady worker comes up and starts yelling at us evan tho we was not doing anything and we was about to leave becuse it was 9 min till closing :/ btw that’s the only place my card would work
The nameless
Got kicked out of the kids area for being teens… I will admit I am a teen but my friend was not… she was 12 and her library card only works for the kid area computers and to get a card or computer pass upstairs you have to have a guardian or be 18 to use the computers upstairs and the only reason teens are allowed downstairs is to use the computers… got told this by a mean lady.

This month is R.E.C. (read, eat, create). On Tuesday and Thursday the storytime room is open from 10-12 with snacks, books, and crafts set out. It is parent led. You can always visit their website and it let's you know if it is story time or REC and what the theme is 😊
It is 20 cents per page (or side). Our copiers can print double-sided. Thanks for asking!
Thanks for asking! You can find all library events, including Book Sales at https://nchcpl.librarycalendar.com/ The next sale is scheduled for August 14, 2021, 12-4 pm. You can sign up for event updates here: https://www.nchcpl.org/e-news-signup/
No, the library does not have copies of birth certificates. For this you would need to visit the Health Department - more information on this is available at their website - https://henrycohealthdept.org/vital-records/.
You can actually download these forms from the library's online resources page - https://www.nchcpl.org/discover/online-resources/ and click on Gale Legal Forms at the top. You can either search for Power of Attorney or it is one of the categories listed under the "Browse by Main Categories" section. If you don't have access to a printer at home, the library charges $0.20 per page for black and white prints. Hope this information is helpful. Let us know if you have any other questions.
It is accessible and the seats do have padded backs. Hope to see you soon!
As long as the library is within the evergreen library system you can return your materials to that library as well
Our Sunday hours start the weekend after Labor Day and run until the weekend before Memorial Day. Thanks for asking!
The fax number for our business office is 765-521-3581. Are you looking for a publicly available fax? We have a public fax that can send out fax transmissions, but not that receives faxes. Let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks for contacting us! Olivia, we just noticed the second part to your question, and we're working on an answer for you and will get back with you tomorrow. Here's an update for you: Please call Mary, our head of adult services, at 765-575-4558. She has an email account that she can check to see if it was received and can get you the information that you need.
We’re open from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. Stop on by!
If you live outside of our service district, you may get a temporary card to use the computers.
Hi Alicia- Our most convenient drop off box is in the parking lot, past our side entrance. You can drive right up to it. We also have a walk-up drop box at the front of the building (15th Street) at the top of the front entrance steps.
Yes. You can.
In 2017, we read Journey to the Center of the Earth during Henry County Reads. We're gearing up for Frankenstein in the fall!
